It's said that a picture is worth a thousand words.
In a thousand words I could have the guidance of the Lord's Prayer, the comfort of the Twenty-Third Psalm, the virtue of the Hippocratic Oath, the beauty of a sonnet by Shakespeare, the vision of the Preamble to the Constitution, the emotion of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, and a few words left over for a snappy little blog post.
Now would I trade those thousand words for this picture? No. But I still really love this picture.
Oh, and I finally got a new autumn banner up. The reason behind these huge smiles? They saw their daddy walk out from behind the house (and perhaps hoped that he was going to rescue them from the photo session that mostly involved me saying, "Don't eat leaves, Jules! Jules! No leaves!")
