Last week our neighbor brought over a sweatshirt for Sydney. It's red. It's three sizes too big. It has a snowman, and it says 'Tis the Season to be Jolly.
I showed it to Sydney, who immediately deemed it her most favorite sweatshirt ever, and has worn it nearly every day. And thanks to my parents who got Sydney the new WowieBOZowee Christmas movie (which we must watch every day), we are already singing Christmas songs around here.
Book about the Christmas story (us reading "and there's something even more special about Christmas..." is Syd's cue to yell, "Jesus' BIRTHDAY!")
Trips to Costco just to pet the so-soft Christmas penguin that we are not getting for decoration (sorry Sydney), but will enjoy in the aisles of the warehouse.
If the weather is good this weekend there will be Christmas lights (but not turned on! Not until after Thanksgiving! Strict instructions to my husband!).
And I'm betting that there will probably be a Christmas tree in our livingroom the weekend after Thanksgiving.
Oh dear. Oh dear oh dear oh dear. Come on, now. Who else has Bing Crosby in the CD player? Anyone? Please?
