The ride of a lifetime
Yes, that would be my 93-year-old grandma (on the far right), along with my parents and my sister. Do you suppose that the little farm girl of North Dakota, the one who grew up during the Great Depression and didn't get to finish high school, ever imagined herself in Egypt someday? Probably not.
When I'm 93 years old, I want to be riding a camel in Egypt.
Yes, that's precisely what I want to be doing.

I would like to be more adventurous, and I'm nowhere near that old!! That is very cool.

That is WONDERFUL! I can only hope to be that adventurous now, much less at that age, LOL!

That's so awesome. Yep, I think that's what I want to be doing at 93 also.

Oh my gosh, I know. I WAS going to have you come. When it was all over, the thought suddenly hit me that I had meant to bring in a few other people--like you, maybe Jen Rouse, and others. The weeks just got away from me. Next year for sure.
And I've played my Scrabble word. (About the time you were leaving that comment, I'm guessing. :)

Ah, my 80 year old mother and your grandmother should meet...they could travel the world together and they would love every minute of it. I hope to have that energy and stamina in later life...
