If you give a mom a vacation, she's going to want to visit her sister.
And when she visits her sister, chances are they'll head to a hipster town like Boulder, Colorado, to do some shopping.
And while she's shopping, the sun will come out and remind her that spring is on the way.
Knowing that spring is on the way, she'll wander into a boutique to find a cute little skirt that she has to have.
And once she has the skirt, she'll discover when she gets home from vacation that she doesn't have a top to go with it.
So she'll have to go out shopping again to find a top that compliments the skirt.
And shopping for the top will remind her that she needs to get some new shoes that are just a little fancier than regular ole' flip-flops.
When she tries on her new shoes she'll realize that her toes aren't sufficiently summery, so she'll have to go get a pedicure.
As she's getting a pedicure she'll start to relax, knowing that she's done teaching classes and her summer vacation is just around the corner.
And thinking of summer will inspire her to go get her hair straightened because even though she has daughters with ridiculously cute curly hair,
her's is not so much (ridiculously cute, that is). So off she goes to get her hair straightened.
And once her hair is straightened, and her new skirt and top and shoes are on, and her toes are painted and looking perfectly summery, she'll go outside only to discover that the sun is gone and the rain is pouring down in buckets.
She'll remember, in the midst of the rain, that her sister is vacationing in Hawaii.
And chances are, when she thinks of her sister enjoying all that sunshine...
...she's going to want a vacation.
