I wandered outside today to enjoy the sunshine with the girls, and happened upon a little scene playing out on the lawn.
The girls had their lunch in their princess tent today, but the real excitement happened after lunch. Sydney was talking in princessy tones to Jules inside, and I overheard bits and pieces. "Prince" and "watch over" and "darling" were oft repeated. Sydney had to journey outside the castle to find some magic flowers, but soon enough she ran back.
"Oh, my darling!" she exclaimed. "How is the little prince doing?" And then the conversation was enveloped into the castle walls.
I decided to sneak a peek into the castle, both to overhear the story and see the prince that had captured their hearts.
I should have guessed that it would be none other than Prince Tux. He's very charming.
Try to at least look charming, Tux. It's the least you can do to show your utmost gratitude to these lovely princesses who have been fawning over you all afternoon.
Indeed, Prince Tux did sometimes manage to escape, but the princesses were never too far behind to scoop him up and protect him from all the evil monsters that prowled about in the daffodils and sunshine.
It's called devotion, Prince Tux. And these girls have plenty of it for you, so live it up. ♥
