...ice cream and imagination. I think both are pretty fun.
And just for Raehan and last night's comment:
It's Addie.
I know. You can hardly recognize her, right?
That's because she's incognito.
Behind the photoshoot: I don't know what I was thinking. Well, I do know what I was thinking. I was thinking "ice cream" would be fun, and tasty, and definitely something that Addie would enjoy seeing in her alphabet book. It turns out, it is very tricky to photograph babies--particularly the kind that cannot sit up or hold items for very long--with ice cream cones. If you've ever thought to yourself, "Maybe I want to take a picture of my 2-month old baby with ice cream," I might discourage you from attempting it. Let me know it goes, at any rate.
I got exactly one shot before Addie squirmed over and touched her head on that ice cream. She might not have exactly screamed over the ice cream, but there were some tears. So, that was the end of that.
For more of Addie's Alphabet (although not any other ice cream shots, I can tell you), here's the complete Flickr set.
