Well, I did go see Hair in Portland Friday night. But that has nothing to do with the unicorn in front of you. Promise.
Sixteen weeks old, and we still think Adelynn is pretty perfect!

The props of the photoshoot: After weeks of my family humoring me with Addie's Alphabet, I decided to let Sydney call the shots on this one. My original idea was popcorn and pretzels (with a New Year's party twist), but Syd really wanted me to use the pillow pets the girls got from Grandpa Chuck and Grandma Sharon for Christmas. The girls have been wanting those pillow pets ever since they saw a commercial for them a few months ago. Evidently they are quite *the thing.* The grandparents were super kind to indulge my children's Christmas wishes.
Bonus P's: The pink and purple quilt in the photo was made by our friend Pat.
As for the photo direction, it went something like this:
Sydney looking at the tag on the pillow pet and reading it aloud: "Pillow Pet. Pillow Pet. Hey! Mom! That's TWO P's. TWO! You have to use Pillow Pet for Addie's P picture because there's two P's in Pillow Pet!"
Sure thing, sweetie pie. And actually Syd had a whole plan for how the picture would be with Jules on one side and her on the other and Addie in the middle and the pillow pets dancing around or something, but I convinced her to let me simplify the photo a bit. Watch out for Syd's creative juices to take over for the letter "s."
