...yummy first bites and yummy babies. Oh, I just want to eat her up, she's so sweet!
Addie got some rice cereal today. She has been swiping food out of my hands for a couple weeks now, so it was time to give her a taste. She did pretty well with it.
PS: this photo is probably the best representation of the color of Addie's eyes.
Y is also for...
...yellow yarn that I've had for years and years. I bought it for a craft, and now six years later it finally came in handy again.
Y also celebrates Dr. Seuss's 107th birthday (it was last Wednesday):
She's a Yep! On a step! And she's great fun to have around!
(and so are many many other friends that she has found)
And, okay, she doesn't exactly look like a Yep. But we're okay with that.
[Since I'm on the topic of Dr. Seuss, I'm going to break from Addie's Alphabet to show you what Syd and Jules did for yesterday's Dr. Seuss celebration at the library:
So fabulous! Blue hairspray from Walgreens; Thing 1 and Thing 2 shirts from our trip to Universal Studios that Uncle Nathan and Aunt Carolyn bought for the girls.
For their dress-up efforts, they won a prize at the library as the Funniest Seuss Characters. You would not believe how many people asked if Jules hair was real or if she was wearing a wig.]
Behind the photoshoot: For the life of me, I could not think of what to do for Y, so I turned to Facebook and asked all my FB pals for suggestions. Yummy, yellow, and yarn were mentioned a couple times, so I picked those. And then the Dr. Seuss one was a last minute inspiration.
Since this was the week that Addie started eating food, then I think the "Y is for yummy" is particularly timely.
Can you believe there's only one more week of Addie's Alphabet? Wow.
Twenty-five weeks old. Only one more week until she's SIX MONTHS OLD.
