We find blocks in our shoes.
Find apple slices in cups, the cups neatly stacked in a bottom kitchen drawer.
Our toothpaste mysteriously vanishes and then shows up in the bathtub.
A lone shoe snuck into a trash can miraculously makes it way back into the pile of shoes before being hauled to the curb.
I absent-mindedly place my sunglasses on a side table, and then minutes later when I go to put them away, they've vanished.
We ask each other, "Where is the remote?"
"Have you seen my other shoe?"
"Where's the sippy cup?"
Either our house is haunted, or...
...someone has discovered the joy of placing little things inside other things.
